8-28-15 Weekly Newsletter

Dear Parents, Weekly Newsletters- On Fridays, I will be sending home our Weekly Newsletter. Please take time to read over it each week. The newsletter will always keep you updated on what we are learning about in the classroom and other important information. I have attached our first Weekly Newsletter for next week.   Items in a Bag- Today your child will be coming home with a big zip-lock baggie. Attached you will find instructions on what to have your child do with it. Please send it back no later than Friday, September 4th. (They will be presenting their items to their 4th Grade Learning Buddy.)   Dress Code- I just wanted to highlight some of District 12's dress-code policies:   *No spaghetti straps. If your child has a shirt or dress with spaghetti straps, please have them wear a little sweater over it.   *Your child is allowed to wear professional sports attire, as long as it is not a jersey. GO BRONCOS!   *Please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes when we have P.E. (I will always let you know what specials our class is going to in the Weekly Newsletter.)   Kindergarten Schedule- I have attached our daily schedule. You can also find it on our Kindergarten Webpage under the "Details, Details, Details" tab.   Home Link 1-7- I have also attached our Math Home Link 1-7. Please have your child work on it at home to help reinforce what we did in math yesterday.    Scholastic Book Order- In your child's Friday Folder you will find our first Scholastic Book Order. This is a great way for you to buy cheap books to build your classroom library at home. If you would like to order books, please order them online. (The directions will be on the parent letter that is attached to the book order magazines.)   Facebook- Please click on the link below to join the "STEM Lab Kindergarten Parents" group. This is a great way for parents to communicate with one another and set-up play dates. If you, and/or family, would like to see pictures of your child's learning throughout the day, please make sure to like either the Mrs. Bradford or Miss Crump Facebook pages.   STEM Lab Kindergarten Parent Facebook link:
