NSTEM Information & Change in Programming
The National STEM Honor Society (NSTEM) will continue to be offered at STEM Lab, but with some changes to programming for the 2025-2026 school year. Due to budgetary constraints, we will be unable to support such a large membership the same way we have in the past.
Here’s what families need to know:
-
Students will now receive a certificate each year they participate.
-
There will be NO monthly meetings this school year.
-
An induction ceremony for new members and kindergarten students will be held each February.
-
Membership will be verified each fall and automatically roll over each year.
-
If you believe your student qualifies, please review last year’s qualifications and email the STEM Coordinator for verification.
-
If your child no longer wishes to participate, please email the STEM Coordinator to update records.
We value your partnership in celebrating STEM and hope your students continue to recognize the importance of being honored for STEM excellence.
