Student Advocacy (2nd-8th)

Who: 2nd-8th grades
What: Student Advocacy
When: The following Wednesdays: 9/24, 11/5, 12/3, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/1, 5/6 from 3:15-4:15pm
Where: Library Media Center with Ms. Hanson, Ms. MacLean, Ms. Moore, and Ms. Reynolds
Why: Formerly Student Leadership, Student Advocacy is a representative body where students represent their peers, serving as the voice of the student community. Members act as liaisons between the student body, PTO, and school administration, advocating for student needs, concerns, and interests while working to improve the overall school experience for everyone.
How to Apply:
Submit a 3-5 min video to cassie.moore@adams12.org by September 12th, answering the four questions on the flyer. You can find the flyer here for information on Student Advocacy and the questions for the application.
In your email include: your name, grade level, and a link to your video (make sure you check the sharing settings first!). In the subject line, type “SA Video.”
For help with creating and sharing your video, please follow these steps!
Selected students will be informed prior to our first meeting after school on September 24th. All future meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.
