STEM Lab students spend a day with advisory students
- Focus on Students
STEM Lab's amazing fourth and fifth grade teachers planned a day where our Advisory (sixth through eighth grade students) would connect with a K-5 classroom. The focus of this was to connect our elementary and middle school students together to build our sense of belonging while learning about others in our school. During our afternoon of collaboration, our Advisory students worked with their partner elementary classes to come up with lists of words that described attributes of STEM Lab or STEM students. Then, they all worked together to build the words using their bodies. We reached out to the district and were able to use a drone to take photos of our words and students. The kids had so much fun and the pictures turned out great!
