STEMsters Win NASA TechRise Challenge!
Abbi P., Britanta S., Eddie L., Ray M., and Keara H. are one of 60 teams nationwide that won the second NASA TechRise Student Challenge!
This team is studying the effects of radiation and pressure on various packaging materials. As humans look to settle on the moon through the NASA Artemis mission, this will help companies prepare their materials for shipping beyond the Earth! They will receive $1,500 to build their experiment and an assigned spot to test it on one of two NASA-sponsored high-altitude balloon flights scheduled for this summer.
