Erin Brabant is excited to be in her 9th year at STEM Lab and her 15th school year teaching middle school in Adams 12. Erin grew up in Long Island, NY. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Earth Science and her Master of Science in Adolescence Education from Dowling College in New York. She is endorsed in Secondary Science and K-12 Instructional Technology. During her time serving Adams 12 students, she has taught science, engineering, technology, and computer science all between grades 6-8. In the classroom, Erin strives to create a motivating environment in which students are engaged in scientific inquiry, the engineering design process, higher level thinking, and individual creativity. She has been married to her husband for 11 wonderful years and has two young children. During her free time she likes to cook, travel, create, do puzzles, code, and spend time with friends and family.
